To Delete a Query or Query Folder
You can delete any
query or query folder within
My Queries or
Shared Queries, providing that your user account
has the appropriate permissions.
Follow these steps to delete a query or query folder.
- Open Query Browser.

Locate the query or query folder that you want to delete then
click (
) to expand its context menu anc
choose theDelete option.
For example,
CAUTION: If you are deleting a query folder that contains queries and/or folders, the folder and all of its contents will be deleted. If you do not want to delete all of the contents within the query folder, click No to cancel the operation then move the queries and/or folders to a new location before choosing to delete. For more information about moving queries and query folders, see Moving Queries or Query Folder. - Click Yes. A confirmation message appears.
